Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 4, 2026
1. Who we are
Dialed Sales is operated by Garrett Hanson, a sole proprietor based in Nova Scotia, Canada. For the personal information you provide to Dialed Sales directly (account, app usage, support correspondence), we act as the data controller. For payment information you submit at checkout, Paddle.com Market Limited acts as the data controller as Merchant of Record.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, password (stored hashed).
- Profile information — display name you set in your account.
- Customer call data you enter — customer names, phone numbers, addresses, call outcomes, notes, follow-up dates, and service types. This is data you collect from prospects and log into the app.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, and rough geographic region derived from your IP address.
- Device and log data — browser type, operating system, IP address, and error logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Support correspondence — messages you send us by email or in-app.
- Payment data — collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We receive only a customer ID, subscription status, and billing period — never your full card number.
3. How we use your information
- Create and operate your account (legal basis: performance of contract).
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (legitimate interests).
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
- Process payments, manage subscriptions, and handle tax compliance through Paddle (performance of contract).
- Send you transactional emails such as account confirmations, password resets, and billing receipts (performance of contract).
- Respond to your support requests (legitimate interests).
- Comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).
4. Your responsibilities for customer data you enter
When you log calls in Dialed Sales you are recording personal information about your own prospects and customers. You are the controller of that data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect, store, and process it under the privacy laws of your jurisdiction and theirs (including PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR / UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws where applicable). We process this data as your service provider, only to provide the Service to you.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers / subprocessors — Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, authentication), Google Maps (address autocomplete), and email delivery providers. They process information only on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record, for payment processing, subscription management, invoicing, and sales-tax compliance.
- Professional advisers — accountants, lawyers, and auditors, when needed and bound by confidentiality.
- Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
6. International data transfers
Our infrastructure providers may process data in jurisdictions outside Canada, including the United States and the European Union. Where data is transferred from the UK / EEA, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and our subprocessors' adequacy certifications.
7. Data retention
We retain account and call data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it longer to comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations (Paddle retains transaction records as required by tax law).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority (e.g. the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your local EU / UK supervisory authority).
To exercise any of these rights, email support@dialedsales.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, and database row-level security. No system is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local-storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your session preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser can block or delete cookies in its settings, but the Service may not function correctly without them.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
